Nesta quarta-feira (12), a organização do Emmy Awards, a mais importante premiação da televisão mundial, divulgou a lista de indicados para a edição de 2023.
Um dos destaques foi a cantora Rihanna, que recebeu 5 nomeações pelo show realizado no intervalo do Super Bowl, em fevereiro deste ano. Ela concorre em categorias técnicas, como Melhor Direção Musical e Melhor Design de Produção em Especial de Variedades, entre outras.
No que diz respeito às séries que brilharam nas telas, o grande destaque deste ano foi “Succession“. O drama da família Roy conquistou tanto o público quanto a crítica, acumulando um total de 27 indicações. Logo em seguida, temos “The Last of Us“, “The White Lotus” e “Ted Lasso”.
Enquanto a série “The Idol“, dirigida e estrelada por The Weeknd, foi um fracasso de crítica, o mesmo não pode ser dito em relação à sua música. Ele conquistou uma indicação na categoria Melhor Direção Técnica e Trabalho de Câmera por sua apresentação no SoFi Stadium, transmitida pela HBO.
Selena Gomez também teve destaque com o documentário “My Mind & I“, exclusivo do Apple TV+, que concorre ao prêmio de Melhor Roteiro em Programa de Não Ficção. Além disso, ela está na disputa pelo troféu de Melhor Elenco por “Only Murders In The Building“.
Jenna Ortega está radiante! Ela recebeu sua primeira indicação ao prêmio de Melhor Atriz em Série de Comédia pelo seu trabalho em “Wandinha”, da Netflix. Você assistiu?
De acordo com a Variety, a data da cerimônia de premiação, que estava marcada para 18 de setembro, pode ser alterada. A greve dos roteiristas de Hollywood pode adiar o evento para algum momento entre novembro de 2023 e janeiro de 2024. As emissoras e a Academia estão avaliando os possíveis cenários.
